Suppose your supervisor asks you to stay late on three evenings, but the payslip lists overtime for only one. Write down the dates and hours, then ask payroll which hours were counted and which pay period they fall in. Save the written explanation.
Overtime on ordinary workdays, work on holidays, and overtime on holidays may follow different rules; some jobs have exceptions. If the figures still do not match, take the records to a labour inspector for case-specific guidance.
